Blood Sugar & BP Tracker

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 25, 2026

1. What the app does

Blood Sugar & BP Tracker is a personal health journal for recording blood pressure, blood glucose, heart-rate estimates, weight and BMI, and water intake, and for reading general health education. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease.

2. Health information stored on the device

Health entries, profile age and gender, display preferences, and reminder settings are stored locally on the user’s device. The current release does not create an account or upload these records to a MoonSpace Technology cloud service.

Users may edit or delete individual records and may export records to a CSV destination they choose. Uninstalling the app removes its private local storage, subject to the device and operating system. Android backup is disabled for this app.

3. Camera and haptics

Camera access is requested only when the user starts the optional camera heart-rate estimate. Camera frames are processed on the device to estimate a pulse signal; frames are not saved or sent to MoonSpace Technology or advertising providers. Vibration is used for measurement feedback. Users may deny camera access and use manual heart-rate entry instead.

4. Notifications

Notification permission is requested only if the user enables a daily reminder. Reminder time and enabled state are stored locally. Users can disable reminders in the app or Android settings.

5. Optional local weather

When the user taps the weather card, the app may request approximate location permission. If granted, coarse latitude and longitude are sent over HTTPS directly to the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) to retrieve a current local forecast. The request also exposes the device IP address as part of normal internet communication. The app does not store the coordinates or send them to analytics or advertising services. Users may deny or revoke location access; health tracking remains available.

See the MET Weather API terms and MET Norway privacy statement.

6. Advertising and consent

The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform. Depending on consent, region, device settings, and Google’s processing, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and consent choices to provide, measure, secure, and limit advertising.

The app does not intentionally send entered health measurements, profile age or gender, exported files, camera frames, or article-reading text to the advertising SDK. Advertising consent and privacy choices are available in the Me page where required.

See the Google Privacy Policy and Google partner-sites explanation.

7. General health content and external links

Educational articles identify their source. Opening an authoritative source leaves the app and is governed by that publisher’s privacy policy. MoonSpace Technology does not control third-party sites.

8. Data sharing and sale

MoonSpace Technology does not sell health records. Google advertising and consent services may process user or device data as described above. MET Norway receives coarse coordinates and normal network request data only when the optional weather feature is used. Data voluntarily exported by the user is handled by the destination they select.

9. Security and retention

Private app files use Android application sandboxing. Network traffic is restricted to HTTPS. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection. Local records remain until the user deletes them or removes the app.

10. Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children. MoonSpace Technology does not knowingly use the app to collect health records from children through a developer-operated server.

11. User choices and rights

Users can deny or revoke camera, approximate location, and notification permissions; disable reminders; manage eligible advertising privacy choices; edit or delete local records; export a copy of local records; and uninstall the app to remove private local storage.

Because this release has no account or developer cloud, there is no server account-deletion process. Depending on where a user lives, privacy laws may provide additional rights regarding personal information processed by third parties. Questions or requests may be sent to the contact address below.

12. International processing

Third-party services described in this policy may process information in countries other than the user’s country. Their safeguards and legal bases are described in their own privacy materials. MoonSpace Technology will respond to applicable privacy requests and complaints submitted through the contact address below.

13. Changes

Material changes will be reflected by updating this policy’s effective date and, where legally required, providing an in-app notice or requesting new consent.
